Bio

Sherry Bridges Clitheroe (aka Abigail Leigh Reed) is a Writer’s Digest award-winning author, a Sisters in Crime’s Dorothy Cannell Scholarship recipient, and an inaugural Bouchercon Scholarship Award winner. Find her latest cozy mystery short story, “Death Rolled a Bunco,” published in COOKING UP DEATH by Camden Park Press, 2025, and “Bagpipes, Haggis, and Burns” is in the Malice Domestic Anthology 17: MYSTERY MOST TRADITIONAL by Wildside Press, 2023.

She is a founder of the Zoom-based weekly critique group, Chick Crits.

As a member of Sisters in Crime, she is part of the Orange County and Guppy chapters, and is also a member of the Southern California Writers Association and the Short Mystery Fiction Society.
