Four Writing Tactics
Backstory—writers need it; readers need it. But when it comes as a carpet-bombing of
information, everyone hates it. In “Die, Infodump! Die!” Lance Charnes discusses four
different approaches to feed necessary backstory to the readers without burying them in
it.
